Abstract

The present invention relates to a silicone baby bottle in which only a main body and a nipple, which are made of a silicone material, may contact baby formula or the mouth of a baby so as to prevent definite or possible harm such as the exposure to environmental hormones caused by a synthetic resin material. Further, the silicone baby bottle of the present invention may provide the baby with a feel similar to that of the body of the mother due to the flexibility intrinsic to the silicone material of the baby bottle, and thus may contribute to the development of the sensitivity of infants. The silicone baby bottle according to the present invention comprises: a main body having a bottle neck portion comprising an upper stopper and a shoulder portion formed beneath the bottle neck portion, wherein the main body is made of an elastomer material; a nipple having a flange which contacts the upper surface of the main body, a waist portion extending from the upper portion of the flange, and a tap extending from the upper portion of the waist portion, wherein the nipple is made of an elastomer material; and coupling means including a first coupling ring coupled to the bottle neck portion of the main body and a second coupling ring screwed onto the first coupling ring so as to cover the upper surface of the flange of the nipple. The first coupling is coupled between the shoulder portion of the main body and the upper stopper of the bottle neck portion of the main body.

Abstract

A nursing bottle formed of a small volume container, incorporating a venting tube that extends to dissipate pressure at all times. The nursing bottle may have a cylindrical shape or other configuration that prevents formula placed therein from blocking the venting tube when held at any angle. The venting tube extends distally from the insert portion, operatively associated with a collar that holds the vent structures and the nipple to the neck of the container. The vent opens at the volumetric center of the reservoir above the venting tube. Alternatively, the venting tube has a conical shape of decreasing diameter distally toward the center of the bottom to dissipate the pressure that may cause leakage from the bottle.
