The mask comprises a filter body and an outer cover (6). The mask is characterized in that the filter body comprises an upper communicating tube (11) and a lower communicating tube (12) which are tubular; two ends of the upper communicating tube (11) and the lower communicating tube (12) are closed; a tubular filter tube (3) which is made of PM 2.5 filterable materials is connected between the upper communicating tube (11) and the lower communicating tube (12) in a sleeved mode; and the upper communicating tube is provided with two breathing tubes (5) which can be plugged into nostrils of the human body. The mask for preventing the PM 2.5 pollution has the advantages of enabling the PM 2.5 to be effectively filtered and being good in breathability; enabling the breathability of the mask to be effectively improved due to the facts that the tubular filter tube which is made of the PM 2.5 filterable materials is utilized and the contacted surface area of the tubular filter tube and the atmosphere is much larger than that of a planar filter; and being capable of guaranteeing that inhaled air is filtered purified air due to the fact that the upper communicating tube is provided with the breathing tubes which can be plugged into the nostrils of the human body.
